Free your mind

Free your mind from other ways of thinking. Don't take things simply as they are. Question anything  and everything. Think outside of the box. Open your minds to things different than your way of thinking. Enlighten yourselves. Pick up a book. Talk to strangers that have walked a different path than you. Travel somewhere new. Maybe you'll learn something new. About yourself. About others. About life. Open your mind to different ways of doing things. Open your heart to others that think differently than you. Don't just blindly follow the crowd. Like Albert Einstein once said, "What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right." Do your own research. Find and formulate your own opinion. Free yourselves from the chains of society. Learn. From everyone and everything.
           

Don't put up with anyone less than you deserve

Everyone deserves someone that treats them like a queen/king. If someone were to truly love you, they would bend over backwards trying to please you. They would do things that they don't necessarily like doing but they do it anyway because they want to make you happy. If they live far away, maybe they'd make some time out of their busy lives to drive down to see you or at least take some time to Skype you. If you live nearby but you both have super busy lives, they could take some time to surprise you with a cup of coffee.

You can't make people care. You can't make people do things. If they care, they'll find a way to show you. If they want to do something for you, they'll do it. If there's something you need or want in your relationship that you're not getting, you need to communicate it with that person. Communication is always the key to relationships. Both people need to listen to the needs of the other. If it continues to be that way, there's really not much you can do. If they want to change, they'll change. You can't change people that don't want to be changed. I think everyone can find someone that would treat them like they're the most special person in the world. Just know that there's someone out there who would treat you way better than you could ever imagine.

Of course it should be reciprocated. They deserve to be treated just as well as they treat you. You need to let that person know that you appreciate all the little and big things they do for you. Just as they should do for you. 

Florida Trip!

I'm so excited about my Florida trip with my boyfriend. We bought our plane tickets and got our seats and it's finally becoming a reality. I've been planning on going for over a year now.



I've been putting a little bit of my money into a jar for over a year. I have sooo many ones and fives but I've really saved enough for my plane ticket and a little more. You guys should try it. It really works. It's money that you don't even notice is gone because it's money that usually goes towards Taco Bell or something.

Naples, FL

Downtown Naples

Anyways, it can't come sooner. I'm looking up all these activities that I can do in Naples. They have so many fun things like paddle tours through the mangroves, swamp buggy tours, dolphin and manatee tours, water-propelled jet pack adventures, etc. Downtown Naples looks so beautiful and it looks like they have some nice museums and art centers as well. It's just going to be so nice to get away and explore new places and do different things.

Harry Potter World, Universal Studios

And of course I can't forget about Harry Potter World! I swear I'm going to spend all my money there. It's my childhood dream come true. My family went without me (the true Harry Potter fan) and they loved it even without the train being open. The train is up and fully functioning now though so I'm sure I'm going to love it even more. I'm planning on reading the series again before I go so I can get even more excited about it.
